Article Categories & Submission Guidelines

Our journal offers various article categories to accommodate diverse research contributions, clinical experiences, and scholarly discussions in military and preventive medicine.

Review Articles

These include narrative, scoping, and systematic reviews that summarize and integrate existing literature to guide future policy and clinical practice.

  • Maximum 5,000 words
  • Structured abstract up to 300 words
  • Methods section must explain search strategy and inclusion/exclusion criteria

Case Reports

Case reports describe noteworthy clinical cases, generally focusing on a single patient or a small group of similar cases.

  • Maximum 2,000 words
  • Up to 20 references
  • Clinical relevance and educational value are strongly encouraged

Brief Reports

Brief Reports present preliminary findings, pilot studies, replication studies, or innovative interventions relevant to healthcare and military medicine.

  • Maximum 3,000 words
  • Up to 4 tables and/or figures
  • Structured abstract up to 300 words

Commentaries

Commentaries provide a platform for discussing important and potentially controversial issues through literature synthesis, critical insights, and scholarly perspectives.

  • Maximum 2,500 words
  • Recommended references: up to 30
  • Encouraged to provide analytical and thought-provoking discussion

Ethics and Publication Standards

Authorship and Originality

Authors must confirm that submitted manuscripts are original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. A corresponding author should be designated as the primary contact with the editorial office.

Conflict of Interest and Disclosure

Authors are required to disclose any financial relationships, affiliations, or conflicts of interest that may influence the manuscript or research findings.

Publication Ethics

The journal adheres to ethical publishing standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

Language Assistance

Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to seek professional language assistance to improve the clarity and quality of their manuscripts.
